Great little spot if you're passing through the kirkfield area. Wife and I stopped in today and enjoyed a quick little lunch. Service was great, food was prompt, hot, and cooked perfectly. We'll be back!

Cozy place friendly owners who are always welcoming. Been two times now and both were great meals. Last time I had the special which was home made Lasagna with garlic bread and Caesar Salad ....delicious ! I will be back for the Souvlaki as I'm hearing it is one of the best. Everything is made in house so try the butter tarts. They are a soooo good. Unfortunately they were not open for breakfast when I was in the area or it would have been my first stop.

Just finished a great dinner at Portage House. Our first time in and we were not disappointed. The chicken soulvaki was delicious and portion size was enormous. You will not leave hungry! The restaurant has cozy cottage lake vibe and everyone was very friendly. Food is cooked fresh and served hot. We will definitely be back.

I liked the restaurant. The food was good and fresh. We had Spicy Chicken Burger, Cheese Burger which were good. Philly steak poutine was pretty good and plentiful. Fish and Chips was good too. The place has plenty of parking space.

Had the jalapeño melt burger Oh man it was perfect !!! Wish I took a pic for the review 1 inch Mozzarella ring around the burger with the perfect amount of seasoning and topped to perfection with some sauce that blends with the peppers balancing the heat to perfection. People were grate Price is right on target I actually expected it would be more expensive as it's one of the only spots around here but no!! Right on par or a little below Perfect spot to meet up befor a ride Lots of parking and they are in a really good starting point just east of 12 or west of 35 on 48 Anyways Grate food I have tried a few different dishes Grate Price especially where they are located Nice people makes a difference Good job See you soon

Sarah and Chris run a restaurant that’s been needed in this area for a very long time. From the food to the quick and personal service it’s evident how much they care about they’re establishment- and the food speaks for itself. The souvlaki dinner is my husband’s favourite, and mine is the fish and chips! As an east coaster It taste just like being home!
